The Donnacize Way is a philosophy that is embodied
in the writings, teachings and classes of Donnacize, Inc. all aimed
at promoting and maintaining a well balanced and rewarding fitness
lifestyle. At the core of its philosophy, five basic principles
guide both the instructors and students of the Donnacize Way:
1. YOU Must Commit To A Healthy Lifestyle
For You And Only You
Take responsibility for your health and commit to a healthier
lifestyle. If you put in the work, the results will come. You
must do this for YOU!
2. Three Regimental Building Blocks Must
Become A Part Of Your Life
• Diet- A healthy diet is not about starving or depriving
yourself. A healthy diet is about making good food choices that
will enhance the way you look and feel.
• Exercise- You must move aerobically 20-30 minutes 3-4
times per week. Unlike objects that wear over time, the body becomes
stronger and healthier when it’s strengthened and taken
out of its comfort zone.
• Posture- This is the major building block that make everything
work. Good posture is the foundation of a strong healthy body.
When you understand the importance of good posture, then you begin
to see how the body works and functions properly. This allows
you to exercise more intelligently.
These 3 Building Blocks done in harmony are the foundation to
a successful and healthy lifestyle.
3. An Exercise Regimen Should Be Fun and
Uncomplicated
If you’re going to move aerobically and sweat, you should
have fun. Donna Lynn and her staff understand the importance of
our clients being motivated to stick with a program that’s
enjoyed. This is why our fitness classes are full of energy and
fun. They are challenging enough to take you to a variety of levels,
yet simple enough to perform at home.
4. Variety In Exercise Really Is The Spice
Of Fitness
We are all multi-faceted and multi-talented. So it makes sense
that an exercise program has a variety of elements to suit our
mood, fitness level and personality. The Donnacize Way is a philosophy
that is embodied in the writings, teachings and and classes comprised
of a long, exciting and challenging list of classes that range
from, but are not limited to The Donnacize Groove, Step, Get Funky
and Move, Pilates, Muscle Conditioning and Lo- Impact Aerobics.
5. Fitness Must Be Consistent To Have A
Lasting Impact
Consistency is the key! In order to see change you must change
your previous schedule and make exercising a priority. Choose
to move aerobically 3-4 times per week without fail. DON’T
MAKE EXCUSES! A half hearted exercise schedule, gives you half
hearted results. In order for fitness to have a lasting impact
you must consistently move as a lifestyle.
